Every Friday night, Waikīkī lights up the sky with fireworks over the ocean — and the best place to watch isn't from the beach. It's from the water, aboard the Makani Catamaran, with an open bar in hand and the entire Honolulu coastline glowing behind you. The Waikīkī Friday Night Fireworks Sail departs at 7:30 PM — just as the sun finishes setting and the city lights begin to glow along the Waikīkī shoreline. Over the course of one hour, you'll sail along the south shore coastline as the evening darkens around you, with the Koʻolau Mountains fading into the horizon and Honolulu's skyline shimmering in the water below. As the fireworks begin, the Makani positions itself for a prime ocean-side viewing spot — giving you a front-row perspective on the show that you simply cannot get from shore. The fireworks reflect off the ocean surface while you watch from the catamaran's open deck, surrounded by the warm night air and the sound of the waves. The open bar is fully included in your ticket — craft cocktails, beer, wine, seltzers, soda, juice, and water are all available throughout the sail. The onboard sound system, friendly crew, covered and open-air seating, and dual restrooms round out an experience designed for a perfect Friday night. This sail is available Fridays only, with limited capacity — advance booking is strongly recommended.
