After boarding and a quick briefing, the catamaran cruises to a protected South Maui reef where Hawaiian green sea turtles (honu) gather daily. Aliʻi Nui's guides know this reef intimately — turtle encounters are not a hopeful maybe, they're a guarantee. If you don't see turtles, you're invited back on a complimentary return trip. In the water, the crew provides premium snorkel gear, flotation devices, and in-water guidance throughout. An onboard and in-water photographer captures the encounters so you don't have to worry about your camera. Back on the catamaran, the taco bar opens. Build-your-own tacos with locally sourced ingredients — meat and vegetarian options — alongside the signature open bar: Maui Brewing Co. craft beers, fresh margaritas, handcrafted cocktails, and non-alcoholic drinks for everyone.
