If the Pacific Star buffet feels too casual and the Five Star Signature feels like more than you need, the Three Star Deluxe Dinner Cruise is exactly where most guests land — a genuinely upgraded dining experience with table service, a plated steak and lobster dinner, and all the sightseeing and entertainment of the Star of Honolulu, at a price that still makes sense. You'll check in at Honolulu Harbor around 4:45 PM, welcomed pier-side with a hula performance before boarding. Assigned seating means you're guided directly to your table — no buffet queuing, no scrambling for a spot. The ship departs and sails along the Waikīkī coastline toward Diamond Head as the sun begins its descent, and the dining experience begins. The Three Star menu is a proper plated dinner: fresh salad, whole Maine lobster, tenderloin steak, seasonal vegetables, and dessert — served to your table with attentive service. Two premium beverages are included, with additional drinks available from the onboard bars. Coffee and tea are included throughout. Onboard entertainment follows the same full programme as the other tiers — a welcome hula, live Hawaiian music, the Polynesian show with dancers and performers, and audience participation. After dinner, step out onto the open-air observation decks for 360° views of the Waikīkī skyline and Diamond Head at golden hour.
